3. 8. Skaftafell, Jökulsárlón

Day 8: Clouds, Wind, Rain

Trek on Kristínartindar mountain (14km, 6 hours). The weather is bad so we walked along hillside instead climbing on top. There is Svartifoss waterfall at the end and reconstructed one of the first hydroelectric power plants on Iceland.

The weather is very cold at Jökulsárlón lagoon. It is full of icebergs among that were swimming two seals.

The camp in Höfn is big and for free because a sport fest took place there during the weekend.
