5. 8. Jökulsárgljúfur, Dettifoss

Day 10: Rain, Clouds, Sun

The morning is not better - wind and drizlle. We walked on Eyjan promontory and then moved to the Botnstjör lake at the end of the valley. From there to Vesturdalur (strange basalt formations) and Raudhólar volcano (it has nice red color).

We returned the same way to Ringroad in the afternoon and on the way stopped at the most powerfull European waterfall - Detifoss.

We slept in a camp at Mývatn lake (750 ISK). The sulphurous shower is for free.
