11. 8. Reykjavík, Hallgrímskirkja, Blue Lagoon

Day 16: Clouds, Sun

The weather must be joking - it is warm and sunny. We walked through Höfdi (place of the Gorbachev - Reagan summit) Sólfar (viking ship sculpture) to the dominant feature - Hallgrímskirkja. We enjoyed view from its top.

Then we split for the first time - some of us went geocaching and others experienced icelandic gay parade.

We joined again at water tower Perlan. Then shopping and check-in in motel in Vogar. We had to sleep one night in hotel - it was requirement of travel agancy for car rental.

The evening program is Blue Lagoon. The price is shocking - 1800 ISK. We agreed after the visit we liked Mývatn baths more.
